BRA Temple, Ibaraki, Japan
(Temple étrange de soutiens-gorges)
This buddhist temple is abandoned since 2002, but frequented by some odd 'artist' who hanged around 500 bras and other underwares in the ceiling in a precise manner.
This place -like others around Japan- attracts urban explorers (UrbEx) and photographers.
It is known that people who find such hidden places keep their exact location a secret.

NAGORO, Japan — The last children were born in the remote mountain village of Nagoro (Shikoku Island) 18 years ago.
In this childless village, two dozen adults compensate for the absence with the company of hundreds of giant handmade dolls.
“I wish there were more children because it would be more cheerful,” said Ms Ayano, 70y.o, . “So I made the children.”
Around 350 dolls are staged all over Nagoro.

Address: Kumamoto-ken, Shimomashiki-gun, Misato, Komushiro
熊本県下益城郡美里町小筵

It was constructed back in 1915, when the Yuuen Railway opened in the area, running for a total length of 28.6 kilometres to Misato from Kumamoto City.
Hakkaku Tunnel (Hakkaku translates to “octagon”) was designed to prevent rocks falling from both sides onto the railway, but the reason why it consists of seven unconnected octagonal arches is still a mystery.
It was abandoned when the railway closed in 1964.

Aokigahara Forest, Yamanashi, Japan
aka "Suicide forest"
The forest attracts so many people looking to end their lives. Some lore offers an explanation — that the forest was historically a place where individuals left their elderly or infirm relatives to die, and it’s been haunted by their spirits. The forest is also said to have supernatural forces that call to those who are feeling depressed or distraught. Another, more believable theory centers on a 1961 novel by Seicho Matsumoto called “Tower of Waves,” which tells the story of a couple who kill themselves in these woods. A spike of suicides here followed the book’s publication. In 2003 alone, 105 bodies were found inside.
Wooden signs offering help to mentally unwell visitors dot the forest. In Japanese, it tells people to think of their families and the lives they were given, and provides a phone number for a suicide hotline. Police and volunteers also conduct searches inside — not just to recover bodies, but, more importantly, to find the living.
